Subject: Heritage Special headlamp
Have a very odd situation and need help. 1983 US spec XS650 Heritage Special. The headlamp it came with appeared to be too wide, and pushed the headlamp support "ears" outwards. This resulted in the indicator stems on the front also leaning backwards which look daft. All pictures I can find show the indicators sticking out straight.
I bought a new non-oe headlamp complete, and it is the same size as the original. All headlamps for this model and previous seem to be the same size, but some are painted and some are chrome, but I cannot find a smaller diameter one listed anywhere.
Am I missing something here? Maybe the US Heritage had a 6 inch headlamp that is rarer than hens teeth?
