Kawasaki JH750 information
An all new twin-cylinder engine displacing 774cc and fed by a relatively large 40mm carburettor mounted to an 8-petal reed blocks gave this 2-seater 750SS (known as the X4 in Europe and Japan, later versions also supported by CMS were known as the XiR) a more than ample amount of torque and power.
Rubber engine mounts reduced the likelihood of stress related cracks appearing in the hull and also improved operator comfort. The hull was made from reinforced-fibreglass adding strength and hull integrity where required. The hull also featured storage compartments and a large capacity fuel tank. This, Kawasaki’s first high performance model was a popular choice with racers in the early years of the “runabout class”
